Dr. Charlotte Sumner, clinician and faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a valued member of the KDA Scientific Review Board, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine, an independent organization of leading professionals in health-related disciplines.
Members are elected through a selective process that recognizes people who have made major contributions to the advancement of the medical sciences, health care, and public health. This recognition highlights Dr. Sumner’s outstanding contributions to neuromuscular disease research and clinical care.
