February 2025 Meeting Notes
- KDA Conference updates:
- In-person attendance is already at nearly 180, which has surpassed all expectations.
- The detailed schedule of patient-related talks is available on the website, with the research schedule to follow.
- Logistics details like signage, badges, setups, and plans for breakout sessions are being finalized.
- Financial update indicated that there was not a lot of activity last month, which is normal for January.
- Continued last month’s strategy discussion, focusing on our vision for the KDA. After narrowing down the list of possible vision statements, Board members were asked to prioritize the options to help come to a consensus.
- KDA President briefed on our global alliances with KD advocacy groups, prompting discussion of an umbrella organization that could coordinate our efforts.
- Received briefing slides providing an update on our efforts to reach out to KD clinicians.
