Kennedy's Disease Researcher Wins Major Award!

Professor Diane Merry of Thomas Jefferson University and a member of KDA's Scientific Review Board, received the prestigious Javits award for 2024. Dr. Merry is a leading researcher in Kennedy's disease (spinal and bulbar muscular atrophy or SBMA). The Javits award acknowledges her lab's work, using "biochemical, molecular, and cell biological approaches to yield novel therapeutics for SBMA." Congratulations, Diane! We are so proud of you and your leadership in the search for a cure for Kennedy's disease.
